What type of things will a Psychosocial Recovery Coach assist me with?
A recovery coach will assist with all the NDIS tasks that a support coordinator would normally complete. However they utilise a recovery lens during all interactions. The funding for recovery coaching often allows for more meaningful face to face work.
A recovery coach will get to know you as a person through a combination of face to face visits and other communication methods that you choose such as phone calls, email and text.
Help you understand your plan and the different ways you can use your funding.

What is psychosocial recovery coaching?
Psychosocial recovery coaching is a NDIS capacity building support that may be funded instead of, or sometimes in addition to support coordination. Recovery coaching is delivered by workers with specific mental health knowledge. Recovery coaches should also have excellent knowledge of the NDIS landscape.
